Basically, I was reframing an older film to 2.35:1 via a 2.35:1 psd file I made in Photoshop. I was editing using a low quality version of the film, then I right clicked the video and selected "Replace Footage" and got the high quality master. Everything's fantasic.
Except, it's taking incredibly slow.
Each time I move around the timeline, it takes a good five seconds to come up with a high quality preview. It goes from the old version, then updates with the higher quality verison dispite the fact I already replaced it.
And when I try to render it out, I once got 200 hours. We're talking about a 25 minute pile of HD video which equates to about 4gb of space. It plays perfectly fine outside the program, but inside it's just too slow.
Is there something I'm doing wrong? Thanks.
