Cropping mask problem

Jan 31, 2014 1:58 PM

Hi everyone

So basically, i'm making a logo.
I've united the rectangle and an elipse to get a new shape, then i've separated it with a line segment tool. But this is what happens, i have 2 images which i have to put on the top side of the logo and on the bottom one, with a cropping mask. But, by some reason I've put the image on the top side, but for the bottom side cropping mask is unavailable. So, this is how it looks, http://prntscr.com/2ocmff .. As you can see, the Serbian flag i've sent to the back, and I cannot make a cropping mask with it. And, this is how it looks without ribbon, http://prntscr.com/2ocmuu

Any kind of help would be very welcome

Thanks, I hope for a fast solution

    zeming,

As I (mis)understand it, you wish to use the ellipse part as a Clipping Path for the flag beneath it, in the same way as the rectangle part is used for the horsemen.

Have you separated the rectangle part and the ellipse part into two independent paths?

If not, you may actually use the united path as a Clipping Path for both images, just select the united path and both images and Object>Clipping Mask>Make.
