Cross-platform issues with Initial View

Feb 3, 2014 6:48 AM

When I specify my Initial View setting on Acrobat Pro (10.1.9) on my Mac, they are not honoured when the PDF is opened on a Windows machine. I've noticed this specifically with the Page Layout view. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Did you change the preferences in Acrobat or in the PDF?

What are you setting? There's an application preference in Acrobat and Reader (Preferences>Documents) that will override things like hiding toolbars.

The preference setting that can override the setting specified in the document is: Edit > Preferences > Accessibility > Override Page Display
