When I set viewing properties (i.e. two up continous - cover page) and save - when I reopen the document - it does not open to the identified properties. It defaults to a single page style. When I open on other computers, the properties are correct. Is there some default viewing on my computer that is overriding the options I set?
I am setting them under File - Properties - Inital View, not under the current view. As mentioned, I set them under file - prperties and when others open the document, it views correctly (i.e. two up, cover page) but when I open it, it will not view in the settings I have saved in the properties.
Daniel - thank you for your proposed solution. When I went into preferences, the box was unchecked for the restore option. When I checked it, and reopened the document - no change. When I rechecked it, and reopened it - still no change. So unfortunately, that did not work. I think there is a gremlin in my computer set to make my life miserable.
When I said "unchecked" - what I meant is - in my version of Acrobat, the "restore last view setting when opening documents" is a check box - it can either be checked, or unchecked. There is no "clear" option.
