Web App Search Results to display TPL instead of List View

Is it possible to get the Web App Search Results to display a TPL layout instead of the standard List View?

If it is possible would the call go on the form or on the results page? (currently use the same results page for multiple web apps.

Not quite sure what your after.

You can send any search results to a custom page, I think you have done this? That page can have its own template.

The module itself for the search results:

{module_webappsresults,,,bkp,resultsPerPage,hideEmptyMessage,rowLength,sort}

Are they key elements where bkp being true means the search results will use the list backup of the web app over the main one.

If you apply the custom template rule by adding a space and template="PATHTOFILE" you can specify the search results to use a custom template.
