I've installed Elements 12 on a Windows 8.1 system. Clicking on the icon, or clicking on the program application from within windows explorer, neither will start up the application. Nothing happens. Help!
If you aren't getting any error messages than the only way is to re-install the package using an Administrator account or a user with Administrator privileges.
You have got the DVDs for the product and serial number, right? If not then first gather this necessary information before doing anything so that frustration doesn't build up when you come to it. Finding information can be a daunting task for some.
Many thanks. Indeed, I had to uninstall and reinstall the package. During the installation process, it says if you don't register a username, elements12 will stop running. I'm pretty certain, but not positive, that I did. If this was the problem, you would think it would be a minor programming task for Adobe to put in a reminder rather than just nothing happening. Seems to be working fine now and thanks for your assistance.
