If the trial works then CC should work the same  - as I said it is only the license that is different.

    Can your Mac take Mavericks??

    What are your iMacs specs?

    Specs are:

    • Multicore Intel processor with 64-bit support
    • Mac OS X v10.7 or v10.8
    • 2GB of RAM (4GB recommended)
    • 2GB of available hard-disk space
    • 1024×768 display
    • DVD-ROM drive

No, you will be right if it installed already!!

Have a look in the Apple icon top left of the menu bar and about this mac. You will find the specs there.

Guess I should have done more reading before answering.  I am 64 bit.  With that said said then the original question.  Why cant I upgrade Lightroom from the trial version?

Did you read the first link I posted???

I am a paying Creative Cloud member and I have Lightroom installed. How do I update Lightroom via the Creative Cloud?

If you already have a trial or purchased version of Lightroom installed, you don't have to uninstall it. Choose the option to install the Lightroom through either the Creative Cloud app or through the Creative Cloud Download Center. It upgrades your trial or purchased installation to the fully licensed version that is part of your membership.

Ok, drag it to thrash in th Applications Folder (closed of course). This won't affect your catalog or images.

Then restart your computer and check in CC again.
