A file I work on almost daily suddenly will not open on either the local or remote server in DW CS6. I get a message that the Parameter is Incorrect. Then the program crashes and this is what I get in the crash report:

The permissions are correct for the file, I have not changed anything. I can open and work on other files but not this particular one, which is one I need to edit daily. Can anyone help please??
The page does work on the internet and is accessible there.
Yes, yes, and no. It crashed as soon as I tried to load it even with the rename. Luckily I had another computer with DW installed so was able to go in to that one, download the file from the site and it caught a bunch of errors and fixed them. When I uploaded the fixed version of the page, I was able to open it on the other computer. So problem solved for now ... still don't know what corrupted it in the first place but just grateful for double computers!!!
Had the corrupted file been uploaded before you used the 2nd computer? What I'm asking is whether the file that was editable on the 2nd computer was identical with the one that was corrupted on the 1st computer?
I'm not sure of that answer Murray. All I know is that I was unable to open the file in DW in either the local OR the remote server. So no way to tell. But when I downloaded it on the other computer, DW caught and fixed several errors. The file on the server would have been identical on both. The file in the local folder on the second computer was definitely older but that is not the one I opened. I renamed that one before I downloaded the remote copy. I hope I'm making sense. And thank you again for taking the time to respond.
