Can't get into my already installed lightroom 5

Last night I installed my store purchased Lightroom 5 and was able to get into it and download had I desired to do so at the time.  This morning it is coming up with the redemtion code window but will not accept the code.  What's up.  Do I need to uninstall and install again?  Help please

something's not accepting your redemption code, or your serial number?

and you're having a problem downloading?  installing?  or running lr 5?
