copy and paste issue

I am using captivate 5 - i am able to copy and paste for a number of times and then it wont allow me to copy any more images etc.  I have to close down captivate to clear the memory in order to continue.... 

There must be a way around this....  Is there a clipboard i can access in captivate...  I cant delete the images showing in the library as this will remove images i need...  any advice please

This is likely, ultimately, a system issue. You're system is just running out of available RAM to store the clipboard.

Access to a feature to clear the clipboard would, indeed, seem ideal...but no way to do that in Captivate.

Perhaps copy/pasting a few times within Notepad will help clear things up?

Otherwise, when I've encountered this....I've had to do the same; at least close down a couple memory-hogging applications, but even having to reboot the computer.

Fortunately, ever since working with 4gb+ RAM, I've not had this issue.
