Cannot Complete Installation of After Effects CC. Hangs up at 42% every time (4 attempts).

Help me, please?

I have been trying to download the free trial of After Effects CC, but as soon as the download reaches 42% complete it stops and I get an error message saying please close Adobe Installer Crash Daemon.

Working on an iMac running Mavericks.

Already own CS Design Premium 5.5, just want to add AE to the collection.

check your activity monitor to see if there's an adobe help process that opens before the hang and that you can close.
