No rtmfp connection on AMS5 deployed on AWS

Hello,

I have installed an AMS 5 on an Amazon server.

I opened all the traffic inbound and outbound (UDP and TCP).

Despite this, I can't succeed to connect to the AMS server in RTMFP.

Does somebody else had the same problem, and find the solution.

Which edition have you installed? Starter edition does not have RTMFP support.

I have installed AMS 5.0.3 starter edition.

In fact, I have found the solution.

The starter version do have RTMFP.

But when you install AMS on AWS (Amazon server), you have to modify

the Adaptor.xml file that you'll find under /opt/adobe/fms/conf/_defaultRoot_/Adaptor.xml

so, in this file, under <HostPortList>, change this :

<HostPort>:19350-65535</HostPort>

to this

<HostPort public="PUBLICHOSTNAME.COM:19350-65535">:19350-65535</HostPort>

Restart the AMS server and then you'll connect on RTMFP

Oops . I meant the standard edition.

Starter edition has a limit of 50 RTMFP introductions.
