Deleted CC app, DID NOT uninstall.

I simply selected the folders where CC and After Effects had their data and moved them to trash (got nervous with the compatibility issue).

Now, after redownloading and reinstalling Creative Cloud App Management, it shows that I have Ae installed on my mac. Of course, I do not have it, and it does not let me download it again. I had a 30 day trial version.

Please help. How do I get my After Effects back?

Welcome to Adobe Forums.

Please follow the below mentioned steps:

• Launch the Creative Cloud desktop application.
• Click the Settings (gear) icon right top corner and select sign out.
• Rename the Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder to OOBE_old
• Download the Creative Cloud desktop application https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
• Now try to install the Creative Cloud application and sign in.
• Try to download After Effects CC

Thank you for helping me, but I cannot find the OOBE folder. Entered everywhere, and shoudn't it appear in spotlight when searching? I'm still on it right now.
