I noticed all the keyboard shortcut symbols in the Hints panel were Mac shortcuts, even though I'm on Windows. Is there a way to show the Windows equivalents? Thanks!

    cigi63,

Yes, this was tricky for us, as there weren't universal symbols for all of the windows keys that would fit. We don't have different symbols per platform. The Control key (windows specific) is the c with a circle around it. The alt key is the one with the diagonal with a little dash on the top (and I believe you're right this is Mac convention). That said, spacebar and arrowkeys are pretty obvious I think. Best way to get used to these is to just hold down the different keys, to see what highlights.

Knowhow would be an extremely useful reference guide for me, if it displayed Windows/PC shortcut keys. It is difficult enough trying to learn all the shortcut keys for Adobe's various products without having to remember the Mac equivalent on top of that! Why is it that Adobe seems to prefer Mac users? Most tutorials and books teaching Adobe software use Mac as their standard platform. Why is that? Windows is the standard operating system the world over. Mac has a comparitively small following. Why doesn't Adobe recognise this?
