I apologise if I've just missed it somewhere, but can acrobat.com users collaborate on (mark up) a shared PDF like they can with a Buzzword doc? It seems to me like this would/should be a fundamental feature of _acrobat.com_.

Is this possible? How do I do it? I have a client who send artwork through a committee to comment, and I'd like to be able to have them all mark up the same PDF rather than having them send back multiple copies, as they keep doing, despite my best efforts.

If the requirement that you have is for multiple reviewers to be able to comment on a shared PDF and then assimilating the comments, then Adobe does offer a solution. You may try using Acrobat Shared Reviews hosted on Acrobat.com.

mjschmidt, I would follow Divij's suggestions, and also have a look at the Acrobat.com Help file on this subject of shared review with Acrobat 9.
