PC Specs:

AMD Ryzen 1600 3.2 GHz (Stock clock)
MSI GTX 1070
ASUS B350 Plus Motherboard
16 GB @ 2400MHz
After Effects CC 2018
Mac OS Sierra 10.12.5

When I try to make a puppet pin on any image it would crash showing this error "crash occurred while invoking plug-in puppet" or something.
I researched it and I found out that most of the people who faced this issue were using AMD Processors, now If I were using Windows and I had this issue, I can set a "System Variable", MKL_DEBUG_CPU_TYPE=4 and it wouldn't crash anymore. This issue was solved in After Effects 2015.1 for Windows, but I guess they didn't solve it for Mac as there are no official Macs equiped with AMD Processor. I tried using the "System Variable" solution by setting a permanent "Environmental Variable" in my hackintosh but it didn't work, I even restarted PC and checked again if the variable was still there and it was. I don't know if "System Variables" are different from "Environmental Variables". Any kind of help is appreciated.

TLDR: Placing a puppet ping crashes AE 2018, AMD / MAC Issue
