Adobe EPIC_APP_118

Oct 24, 2008 9:31 AM

Can anyone help me with this? Everytime I try to view a pdf file through IE7, Firefox, Opera, I get this message that does not allow me to continue viewing the file within the browser.

I called Adobe tech support, but because I have Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional and not 9, they will not offer free support and instead directed me here for help prior to paying the $39 charge for their help.

He said that he had heard of it before and that it was an easy fix / workaround (that is what he told me to put in the post).

I have read through google that this is a crack. What is a crack?

Thank you for all of your help.

Have a great day
Doug

I am not sure what error message you are talking about. Looks like your topic name may be related, but I have no idea. A URL reference might be useful so others can try to duplicate what you are talking about. Also, are you using Reader or Acrobat and what version? Also what OS?

This error tends to occur when the EULA has not been accepted. Can you confirm the EULA was accepted during installation?
