What software are you using to combine the files? Create PDF Online
    can't do this.

Ok, if you are using Acrobat, I recommend the Acrobat Windows or
Acrobat Macintosh forum. You might also like to check in the
Illustrator forum to see your options for reducing the size exported
    in the first place.

    Hi,

I do architectural drawings in illustrator. when i try to save as a pdf the lines come out significantly less detailed, like broken straight lines when creating a curved line when seen in illustrator.

does anyone know how to save to pdf... size is not an issue as long as quality is top notch!

    thanks

Chaz, I don't think you are using Create PDF Online, and you aren't
trying to decrease file size. So this isn't really the place to ask.
Try starting a new topic in a suitable forum (e.g. an Illustrator
    forum).

I have a scanned official document the size of 4.4MB. I need to reduce the size to less than 2MB. How do I do this without having to re-scan the document?

I created a form using Adobe LiveCycle Designer and saved it as an Acrobat 7 (Static) PDF Form (*.pdf). Once saved, I open the PDF and enable rights for Adobe Reader users. This fillable form I created is 707 KB.

Any suggestions on how I could decrease the size of this file?

Hi, I wonder if someone can help with what I believe is a fairly straight forward situation? I am a relatively new user to the Mac world and have created a Newsletter document with lots of hi res pictures that I need I need to compress as small as possible. I have converted to PDF and then reduced from around 225MB to 20MB. I am told that bu setting certain parameter in Distiller I will be able to reduce even further...this is where I ran in trouble. HELP!!

Well, you can adjust Distiller parameters and it may reduce file size,
but are you using Create PDF Online? If not, you should probably try
in the Acrobat forum. Good luck,

This is using Create PDF Online? What type of file are you sending to
    the service?

I have converted 15 JPEG files to .pdf and 12 of them are under 200kb. I need the other three, which range from 201kb to 242kb, to be under 200kb so I can upload them into my placement file. How can I shrink those three to under 200kb?

    Thanks

I've seen many high quality PDF's with low size and vice-versa. Is there any tool for compressing the PDF?

I am having the same problem with a different file that's in a different format mentioned above. I'm trying to convert a ".srf" file and turn it into a ".pdf." I was successful doing this but my image, once in a .pdf was also pixilated.

I thought if I convert my ".srf" file to a ".jpeg" first, then bring this newly created ".jpeg" into a ".pdf," I would have more luck. But unfortunately the free download I got on my computer that's supposed to convert any file to any file, CANNOT convert ".srf" files to ANYTHING!

Does anyone have any ideas? Or any specific programs I should get?

    Thanks!
