Collect Fonts

Does InDesign collect fonts of placed psd files? If not, are there any 3rd party programs taat anyone knows of to do this? Thanx.

    If you're placing Photoshop files with live text they should be saved as
    PDF which will embed them.

    Please check the EULA on any fonts you're transferring.

    You're missing the point...PSDs placed into InDesign are completely
    rasterized. Placing the PDF will result in all vector data remaining.

    What didn't work? InDesign will not package fonts for linked graphics.

    A Photoshop PDF with live text, once placed in InDesign does not have any font info, the fonts are converted to vector outlines.

    If you absolutely need to supply fonts from graphic files, FlightCheck, although expensive will accomplish this.
