Export Issue with Designer 7.0 to Acrobat 7.0

Does anyone know why when I save a Designer file as a PDf, then open it in Acrobat 7.0, most of the security features are removed even thought I did not make the document secure or password protect it.
I can not tag, add form fields - under security every thing is allowed excpet Changing the Document, Documente Assembly and Commenting. This never happend with Acrobat 6 pro. Thanks, Gina

    Hmm, it seems that Adobe don't want you to be mix/matching your form created in Designer with Acroform elements. If you check the 'Security' section under Document Properties in Acrobat you'll see a note down the bottom saying:

    * This PDF for restricts some operations.

    What is it that you need to do? Why not add the form fields in Designer? Would be good to get some feedback from Adobe on this one.

    Thanks Chris for responding. Well I need to make the forms fillable and 508 accessible and then have them read perfectly in Jaws Screen Reader. (Financial Agency & Govt. forms). Here is the situation: they would like to have a Master in Adobe Designer, per the Department standards (Now, I know you can make fill fields and the accessibility in Designer) however the organizations makes tons of changes to their forms also they like to have Grayed out Background field boxes that do not print and then they want to add an invisible fill field for text sitting on top, an Acrobat 6.0 (7)feature, and the naming convention in Designer is really crazy, its as if it has a mind of its own (yes I know, XML). Its nice to have the ability to be able to edit in both programs and I got completely comfortable with being able to play around with the tagging structure in Acrobat (using the span feature for alternative text etc..), Now you could do this in Acrobat 6.0, the only problem I had with Designer 6 is I could never move text boxes with the arrow keys, I had to actually use x y coords or mouse. Also, wouldn't it be nice to have a spell check feature in Adobe Designer. Yeah, I'm making sure Adobe knows this, however I probably have to pay them to get them to listen???
