Is it possible to create/assign a calculation to a series of Number fields such that if the sum total does not equal a number previously entered in a different part of the form, the user cannot send the user cannot proceed with the submission of the form?
For example, I have one part of the form that asks the user for a Total Quantity of Items. Let's say 15.
In another part, the user can designate how many of those Items get sent to various people. John gets 2, Hiram gets 3, Sally gets 6, Paul, George and Ringo get 1 each (the SHIP TO quantity)
Sometimes the user designates a certain number of Items, then will have the SHIP TO quantity either designate too many or to few, such that the total number of requested SHIP TO items will exceed or fall short of the initial number they requested. that is a mistake.
Is there a way to make Acrobat add the ship to quantities and if that sum does not equal the reqested number, they cannot proceed (and get an electric shock? just kidding.)?
