Hi I'm having problmes running the Enrollment client applications for Dynamic data capture and Dynanamic Data Gathering.

For DDC I get the following error

    Hi,

can you please confirm if your session was on for quite some time and then you started to see this error? Or you get this error all the times?

    DDC :
    Please login to http://localhost:8080/adminui/
Under Home->Settings -> User Management -> Configuration -> Advanced System Attributes increase the value of Session Timeout Limit (Minutes) which is 120 minutes by default.

    DDG:
Can you try replacing the adobe-usermanager-client.jar with the {LC_Install_Directory}\LiveCycle_ES_SDK\client-libs\common\ adobe-usermanager-client.jar on your machine.
The problem seems to be with different versions of adobe-usermanager-client.jar .

    Open the url http://localhost:8080/DDC_Admin
Click on the Document Library Tab and Check the value of mandatory fields required. It seems you have provided the Content Root Uri value as "C:\Adobe\LiveCycle8\LiveCycle_ES_SDK\samples\DDC" which is a filesyatem path.

Try putting the document in the LiveCycle repository and provide the Content Root uri =repository://
    Input Document Name=/DDC/CustomerSatisfactionSurvey.xdp
(If the document is inside a folder named DDC in the repository)
    This should work.

    Hi,

The demo path through the DDC_AccountEnrollmentSample is as follows:
    1) call url- http:// :8080/DDC_AccountEnrollmentSample2) click "Open an Account Online"
    3) answer questions presented by the DDC Flex application (in combo boxes)
    * Please note the green "Submit" button is not part of the DDC_AccountEnrollmentSample demo
    4) continue through the DDC_AccountEnrollmentSample demo

    DDC_GovernmentSinglePointOfServicesSample
Can you verify that you are using Acrobat reader, and what version, as the browser plugin?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

I've tried to recreate the behavior you're getting and can't get your error. Can you describe your environment? Here's mine:

    Windows Vista
    LiveCycle ES 8.2 Turnkey install
    Latest DDC distribution
    Internet Explorer
    Adobe Reader 9

Can you confirm that this URL works in your browser:
    http://localhost:8080/invoker/HttpInvoker

    Thanks

It looks like the default Content Root URI for the documents are wrong. Mine were all set to C:\Adobe\LiveCycle8\LiveCycle_ES_SDK\samples\DDC. I changed this to C:\Adobe\LiveCycle8.2\LiveCycle_ES_SDK\samples\DDC and they work fine. This can be done in the DDC_admin (http://localhost:8080/DDC_Admin) by going to the Document Library Tab and changing LiveCycle8 to LiveCycle8.2 for all the documents.

    Hi Kent,

Yes, the original path "C:\Adobe\LiveCycle8" is for LiveCycle 8.01 - 8.2 has the new path "C:\Adobe\LiveCycle8.2". Alternatively you can add the documents to the repository, in a "DDC" category, and specify "repository:///DDC/" for the content root URI.

    HTH,
    Kevin
