I see Chelsea are asking for some kind of amnesty, as four of their players are excluded from the final because of misconduct via an accumulation of red and yellow cards.
I have no sympathy - these guys know the rules, and UEFA, bless them, are trying to encourage fair play.
Terry's in a mess, as he's also facing criminal prosecution for racist conduct against Ferdinand (not that one, his cousin who plays for Queens Park Rangers).

However, if Chelsea do win the Champions League, it seems he may be allowed to receive the trophy in the stadium as Club Captain. This has not gone down well because of his recent conduct. And I don't buy the sympathy argument of him "missing this year's final" and screwing up his penalty v the Manks in 2008 in Moscow.

Anyway, the BIG one is next Saturday, 5:15 pm (GMT+1), the FA Cup Final from Wembley. I've not got a ticket - again lots of arguments as LFE and EFC got around 35,000 tickets each for the semi-final, but LFC and Chlesea now get around 25,000 tickets, as the "FA Family" take the remaining 40,000.
Then there's the row about the kick-off time of 5:15 pm. Traditionally it's 3pm. Now the semi-final was brought forward to a 12:30pm kick-off supposedly to reduce the opportuinty for pre-match drinking and not to upset the locals (as if 100,000 people could tip-toe to the stadium). This has gone out of the window as a new set of prioriites are "discovered". Why don't the FA say it's all about TV; the FA Cup no longer takes precendence over the Prem League, as it's more important not to interrupt the Trafford Rovers fans somewhere in the Far East. The UK fans who actually pay to travel to the stadium, buy the match-day tickets and spend moeny in and around London count for nothing, as the FA know they are so dedicated to following their team.
And, then Chelsea visit Liverpool on Tues 8th May in the Prem League fixture, originally scheduled for Cup Final Day. I have a ticket for that match; let's hope it's LFC parading the FA Cup!
