Here's a single GIF image containing almost all of Photoshop's cursors and icons. Handy for creating tutorials...no more screen caps necessary!

Dig through the archives a CreativeMac/DigitalMediaNet for nice Photoshop brush sets. I wish they were all gathered on one page, but, alas, they're not. EDIT: Please see post # 13, below. All download resources have been gathered together.

Corporate and Product logos, Vector format (*.AI or *.EPS)

Caveat Emptor: Be sure to inspect them carefully. The large majority of the logos at the links below are quite good, but some of them aren't "official," having been recreated by persons who haven't been as accurate as they should have been. Good resources, nonetheless:

Along with making daily stops at CreativeMac/DigitalMediaNet and CreativePro , I've just found another site with good articles and news on the computer graphics world DesignNewz.com .

I've been using this for years for my vector logos http://www.logotypes.ru/list_e.asp?cat I'm not sure if it's in Phos's list.

I helps me no end Chris, I know they are bootleg files or home made, but when you need a logo for a company that doesn't have a vector of their own logo and this place does, well it's the place to go!

I've used that site a few times. It is a great site.

In fact, I needed some sponsor logos that we had permission to use for a poster. The big dummies (all of them) sent me these low res .jpg's off of their site. I went and scooped up vectors at the above site. Made me look like a regular hero it did (without the cape and tights of course. Tights make me chafe).

it is innit, try printing with out shrinking or zooming to fit, I got an extra page of short cuts?

but the main one is now tacked to the bottom of my monitor.

Just today, David Nagel over at DigitalMediaNet/CreativeMac offers another set of Custom Shapes for Photoshop. He has also made it more convenient to grab goodies from the archives (I mentioned them in post #4 of this thread) by posting all the download links on one page. Nice!

Hey Maccers!

Have some fun exploring some of Chris Cox's early work. HERE are the original Chris's Filters, from 1995. I don't find them all useful, but I still use "Hairy Noise" and "Fractal Noise" all the time to generate organic textures. And "Checkers" comes in handy as well. I could locate a link to Chris's filters on some obscure FTP somewhere, but it's too much trouble, so I'm hosting the files on my Comcast space. He's given me written permission to redistribute the filters as long as everything included in the original folder from 1995 was intact.

And I have to wonder...screen grabs I've seen of the new "Fibre" effect in Photoshop 8 looks a LOT like "Hairy Noise."
