How do I batch convert wav files to mp3?

Dec 11, 2007 4:13 PM

Just wondering how I can convert a batch of wav files into mp3 files (including metadata).

I was looking thru features in both soundbooth and bridge, but I can't find it (if it exists).

Thanls

Use a dedicated converter. Easy CD-DA comes to mind.

I find Itunes to be more useful for batch converting audio files. With the newest version you can customize it to convert a mono or stereo file and to a MP3 as well. And it does other neat things too.

If you already have SoundBooth, you also may already have the Adobe Media Encoder which comes with every CS Suite.

This tool can not only convert Videos, but also very easily wav to mp3 and you can also create your own preset.

Worked like a charm for me
