It's been forever....and no communication whatsoever from Adobe. Am I wasting my time?
User id = yangsheng (used to be mojuba)
Submission is Google Calendar CFC (full featured)
There's something fishy at this Adobe site.
If you look at mojuba's profile it says last activity 3 months ago when it's actually 1 day short of five months. Never mind I see why - that's just dumb. It looks like it's indicating mojuba's last activity when in reality it's the activity of his post.
Which still doesn't excuse how long it takes for submissions, initial or not.
The longest it should take is 2 weeks. Anything else is irrational.
What's wrong Adobe? Only have one person handling all Exchange submissions?
Still shouldn't be that much of a problem seeing that the Exchange has become a wasteland ever since the initial Flash fiasco.
Too many people jumped ship, not enough around to complain and make Adobe take notice.
Hello,
I waited 2 months ... but I finally got it! 2 months is too long,
maybe make follow ups throught their mail/case from time to time. Or
call ... (even if the waiting time can sometimes reach more than 10
minutes). Always note the name of the person you spoke to ... it may
help to address to them.
Courage, and seasons Greetings

Back when it was the Macromedia exchange, all my extensions were approved or rejected within days of my uploading them... I have a couple extensions up now awaiting feedback now from Adobe that have been sitting there for months... I'm guessing the exchange has been disbanded or all the staff have been laid off or put on other projects. The backlog of uploads must be enormous by now.

And yet another follow-up...
I uploaded a PS Action earlier this week, and in the absence of any indication of turnaround time I foolishly assumed it would be on the order of a day or two at most. Ok, so I don't think the time I've had to wait so far is unreasonable, but I would expect Adobe to provide SOME feedback on the process. Forum feedback here does give cause for concern.
Can we please have some straight answers?
I guess at least my first question was answered: my action has been published.
I would still like to see a more-visible process. I only found out that it had been published because I went and checked. Incidentally, by then it had already been downloaded 78 times.
So much for the "We'll notify you again once your item is approved."
