Force image resize on export

Is it possible to specify the photo filesize programatically in an export service?

For example, if I hide the imageSettings section, can I then specifiy resize to 800px on the longest side before the photo is rendered?

Yes, there's some (admittedly skimpy) documentation in the 2.2 SDK manual update.

A bit more example code in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/359751.

Thanks Eric...I have spent ages looking for, but not seeing that. Seems I can't even search properly at the moment
