Retrieve pdf through InDesignApi web service

I am trying to retrieve the pdf generated by InDesign server through the same web service that  my client app uses to invoke InDesign server, regarding which I have the follwoing questions

 

1. Is it possible to to the same without changing the InDesign API code?

2. does InDesign provide some api's for the client to use to retrieve the generated PDF.

 

Any code is welcome.

    If you are using a PDF Export Preset, then there is viewPDF preference which can be set to true which should open the PDF. Is this what you are looking for?
