Dear Mr Kazlow.
Thank you for assistance.
Where may I find the adobe updater application ? I've searched programs/adobe reader 9, control panel and C:\program files\adobe\, but no success.
Ideas and hints appreciated.
Nope, dont have that function. Running adobe reader 9.1.3.
This adobe program is companypolicy so Im not allowed uninstall, problem is this prg
is number one problem with my computer causing instability.
I just want to put it to sleep so it doesnt mess up the computer more.
Thank you, that is exactly what Im looking for but where do I find it ? Cant find it from adobe reader / help or any other menus, also tried looking in windblows / start / programs and control panel, no luck. Is there special editions for companies where the updater settings are removed ? I have admin rights at this computer.
If, for some corporate reason, your Group Policy has removed the Check for Updates option from Help, you can access it by opening Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Updater6 and run Adobe_Updater.exe, then select Preferences.
