I just installed the CS4 creative suite, and everything works but indesign. When I click on it in applications it instantly says that it quit unexpectedly. I tried the trial before purchasing and installing the software and didn't have any problems. I have a mac.
Yes. Or at least, I think I did. But now indesign doesn't even show up on the disk I purchased to install. I just re-installed the trial and that works fine, and the other programs seem to work fine. Is there any way to "transfer" this indesign trial to a purchased addition using the serial number on the disk cover?
It should fix the whole suite as it is the workround to the licence expire bug and you will be able to use the whole suite as normal (no trials). If this fails, you may need to use the CS4 cleaner (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs4clean.html) before re-installing again
I followed your suggestions up to "/AdobePCD/". I do not have this file. I have the following folders: Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator CS4, Adobe PDF, AIR, Bridge CS4, Camera Raw, Color, CS4 ServiceManager, ESD, Fonts, Linguistics, SING, Updater5, Updater6 and XMP.
