Indesign CS4 won't open

Aug 19, 2009 7:41 PM

I just installed the CS4 creative suite, and everything works but indesign. When I click on it in applications it instantly says that it quit unexpectedly. I tried the trial before purchasing and installing the software and didn't have any problems. I have a mac.

Did you uninstall the trial before installing the suite?

Delete chache.db in Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD/cache and it should give you the option to insert a your serial when prompted.

It should fix the whole suite as it is the workround to the licence expire bug and you will be able to use the whole suite as normal (no trials). If this fails, you may need to use the CS4 cleaner (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs4clean.html) before re-installing again

It's located in Hard Drive > Library > Application Support etc. not Users > Home... or at least it is on mine!
