"Licensing for this product has stopped working"

I know this is a common issue and have already googled it and found several pages on Adobe with possible fixes, including running the license server update, start the services etc... I have ran though 3 or 4 different fixes that Adobe listed on their help pages. To no avail have I been able to get CS3 to work under any circumstance. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled CS3, used a clean image and all... Any help would be great!
