Hi there,
I am currently in the process of migrating my dev environment from JRun4 Updater 6 with IIS5.1 on an XP machine to JRun4 Updater 7 with IIS7.0 on a Vista machine at work.
I have reviewed the JRun4 Updater 7 Release Notes, following the relevant instructions therein.
I am having trouble with the connector.
I am unable connect from IIS to JRun. Initially, I had tried to add jrun_iis6.dll and jrun_iis6_wildcard.dll as ISAPI filters at the site level and was receiving 503 errors. Following some research, I discovered that adding ISAPI filters was not necessary, so instead deleted these settings and then enabled ISAPI Extensions via Windows Features. This change required that I added the jrun_iis6_wildcard.dll to ISAPI and CGI Restrictions with a restriction of 'Allowed' and also that I added a script mapping in Handler Mappings. I am now getting the error: HTTP Error - Not Found 404.2 The page you are requesting cannot be served because of the ISAPI and CGI Restriction list settings on the Web server. I then discovered that the sub-error code means "Denied by policy. The request ISAPI or CGI program is not allowed in the Restriction List". So, with this in mind, is the jrun_iis6_wildcard.dll the correct extension to allow, and if so, what may have gone wrong?
Thanks!
Thanks Nathan, but I've already turned that feature on. I re-ran my web configuration tool again and noticed that I had inadvertantly added two configured web servers.
One being
[localhost:default] Internet Information Server (IIS): All
and the other being
[localhost:default] Internet Information Server (IIS): Default Web Site
I removed the Default Web Site instance.
Now I receive a blank (white) page in my browser when I try to access my web site.
The jrun_iis6_wildcard log is returning the following error:
JRun closed connection [336] dropped while sending command
returning error page for connection reset by peer
