Button Help for Inexperienced Designer

I'm not a web developer or graphic designer, but I'm learning by working on my company website. I did a PS mockup and made diagonal buttons. Apparently, this is a no-go for html/css, but I gather it can be done in flash which is fine by me. What would be ideal is to float over each button and a quick animation with a sound plays. My question is: how would you approach making the buttons in flash and laying them in to the html document? Be as detailed as possible. Thanks guys and gals!
