Flash CS3/ Dreamweaver 8 integration

Aug 30, 2007 3:29 PM

I bought CS2 right before it was packaged with Dreamweaver. So I bought Dreamweaver 8 right before CS3 was announced. (yes, there's a pattern here, I bought a new computer as a student right before USB was announced, and a new Mac soon before the Intel chip model was announced- I just don't have time to research!) I am being laid off in September, but just picked up a one-class teaching job at a community college, and they just installed CS3 in the labs yesterday. My question is- if I buy Flash CS3 for my home computer, will it work as seamlessly with Dreamweaver 8 as it would with Dreamweaver CS3? TIA

You'll be fine. :) The only time the two applications ever meet is
when you embed a SWF into an HTML page. That one pinpoint hasn't especially
changed, so far as I can see -- though of course each application on its own
has gained all sorts of new functionality.
