OT? too many email sendings

I have tried to set my options to only receive answers to my questions.  Yet in the last three days I have received in my personal email over 600 messages.   How can I limit messages to answers to my questions?

    Check the Your Stuff --> Preferences page. By default, you are subscribed to any discussion you participate in. Turn it off there and then use the per-thread option to only subscribe to discussions you are really interested in.

    Thanks, but I turned off all email options.  Since then I have received 294

    messages from all the groups.  I only frequent the Windows Photoshop.

     

    Any more suggestions
