The issue you're experiencing is related to Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and has been documented in this forum here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/486175?tstart=0

To use the BrowserLab extensions for Dreamweaver CS4 with Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard):

If you are installing BrowserLab extensions on Snow Leopard for the first time:

1. Install Dreamweaver CS4
2. Install the Extension Manager CS4 2.1 patch (available here: http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/) and CSI 1.0.2 patch from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4568
3. Follow prompts to install Browser Lab Extensions

If you received an error message while trying to install the second BrowserLab extension with Snow Leopard:

1. Stop the “CS4ServiceManager” process (In your Activity Monitor, quit the process called CS4ServiceManager)
2. Rename ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS4ServiceManager to  ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS4ServiceManager_bkp
3. Reinstall the second BrowserLab extension

Sorry, I'm a little confused by your response. There is no additional installer message in your follow-up. Did you intend to show me another message?

It sounds like CSI 1.0.2 is not installed on your machine. Please launch Extension Manager and go to Help (next to File) and choose About Extension Manager. This will bring up the about screen which displays the Extension Manager CS4 version installed. Please reply with the version number.

That could be the cause of the problem, but I'm not certain about that...

Please reply with the version number of Extension Manager CS4 you have installed and the version of the CS4ServiceManager.app file you have installed. The CS4ServiceManager.app file can be found in (Macintosh HD)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS4ServiceManager/CS4ServiceManager.app. Select the CS4ServiceManager.app file then go to File > Get Info to find the version number.

That's strange that Get Info isn't displaying the version number... However your version of Extension Manager indicates you have the 2.1 patch installed. When you installed CSI 1.0.2 did you receive any error, or did it successfully install?

Did you try performing the second series of steps? If not, please try this and let me know the results:

1. Stop the “CS4ServiceManager” process (In your Activity Monitor, quit the process called CS4ServiceManager)
2. Rename ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS4ServiceManager to  ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS4ServiceManager_bkp
3. Reinstall the second BrowserLab extension.

Thanks again for your patience. Please try closing Dreamweaver and Extension Manager then navigate to:

(user)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS4ServiceManager/extensions/ConnectNow/1/META-INF/mani fest.xml

open the file in a text editor and delete the following attribute of the ExtensionManifest tag:

xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="ExtensionManifest_v_1_4.xsd"

Save and close the file, then try installing the BrowserLab Extensions.

Thanks for your patience. I'm sorry to hear you're having problems. Just to make sure, did you also run the CSI 1.0.2 update? If so, and it was successful, please check your (Macintosh HD)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS4ServiceManager/extensions/(all folders)/META-INF/manifest.xml files for the existence of "xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation". The updater should have replaced those 4 manifest.xml files. Please also reply with the version number of  “ExtensionBundleVersion” of each manifest.xml file.
