Is there a way to batch resize images so that the longest dimension is scaled to a certain size?
For example, I want to resize images so that the horizontal ones are 1000W x 700H and the vertical ones are 700W x 1000H. Resizing by percentage is not an option because the images were taken with multiple cameras with varying pixel sizes. Separating the horizontals and verticals into separate folders is not an acceptable option either. If Adobe has not added this capability, then what is the reasoning for not adding something so simple?
Take a look at the image processor script that ships with PS.
More about that here (and about batching images):
Looks like I'm a little late to the party.
