Signature Pad

May 27, 2010 4:54 AM

We are testing this for our insurance agency pilot program.  One question that has been brought up is:

If we have a client who walks in the door and wants to sign the document on the spot..are there any thoughts to bringing a signature device into the future plans?

    Leo,

Great question.  This is a very interesting idea, although not something currently in the works.  Would it be possible to provide a terminal at the office that customers could login to sign electronically?

BTW, feel free to promote the idea:

I have a Topaz pad that I use in the office and it would work for this purpose, but it would not be tied to the Adobe eSignature service.

You can read my review here:

There is one solution which is intended to work perfectly ith Adobe too. Check the Adobe case study: http://blogs.adobe.com/security/2010/01/adobe_secured_customer_showcas _8.html.

Adobe partners Wacom and Softpro teamed up soe years ago to provide the mraket with a solution for highly trustworthy capturing of handwritten signatures.

You might want ot check out this one  www.softpro.de/en/products/signdoc and www.softpro.de/en/products/signpad

Your contact in the US is rod.vesling@softpro-na.com 805-279-3993. He will be more than happy to explain you and everyone interested how SignDoc works in combinatio with a SignPad.

    Kind regards

With the canvas in HTML5, this should be implemented ASAP. Then allow the sender the ability to designate where the signature appears.

    Dear cambyls,

As previously written we suggest that you will get in touch with E-Signing expert Rod Vesling (phone no. see earlier posting) rod.vesling@softpro-na.com to discuss detials as a ping-pong of forum entries might not be suitable to exchange reuirements in detail. Of course you may post a set of question which you assume to be of interest for the general audience. We assume it would be better to post an extract of Q & As after you shared your requirements with us .

    Kind regards

    Joerg
