LR 2.6; WIN XP SP3. I'm pretty sure that I saw a Julieanne Kost tutorial in which she used Survey (N) in the Develop module in order to apply different camera callibrations to a group of Virtual copies to assess the resultant images. Now I can't find her tutorial that includes that move, nor can I find the info in search.
Does anyone know that link or can you tell me why I can't seem to make this work?
EDIT: Perhaps it would be better to ask HOW TO make it work . . .
Well, I think I've answered my own question. The answer is No! they cannot all be viewed (for comparison) on the same screen in Develop, only in Grid view.
It is still a handy tactic, just not what I was trying to do . . .
Do I get points for the answer - or just a dope slap ??
Hi guys. It's probably obvious to you but what I thought I could do was to compare several versions of the same image in Develop and have the ability to apply tweaks to the separate Virtual copies. But Survey only works in Grid and one can't fine-tune (and compare the results against each other) there as one can in Develop. Y is handy, just not what I wanted to do. I can, however, create all the different versions in D and then view them in Grid. It was the going back and forth I was trying to avoid. Ya-ta-ta, ya-ta-ta, ya-ta-ta . . .
I've been working with (and LOVING) LR for two years now and am STILL finding new capabilities all the time so it was worth the try - you never know . . .
