lightroom 3 trial download canceled

I can't download lightroom 3 trial. Akamai pop-up opens but download doesn't start. It says download canceled.

Same problem. Nothing happens upon restart. I went through the whole process of uninstalling Akamai download manager, turning off the firewall (!), and reinstalling Akamai. It doesn't start to download - even with the firewall off through the entire process. I'm running XP (SP3). I would appreciate a link to direct download. Thanks.

Re: lightroom 3 trial download canceled

Apologies for the continuous problems with the Akamai Download Manager! We do offer the direct link when the Download Manager is not installed. If you are having problems with the Download Manager, our suggestion is to:

1) uninstall the Download Manager, then

2) repeat the download and select the direct link option

It would be great if you could save the debug.log file from "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Akamai\" prior to step #1 above. I am also sending you a private message with some additional instructions.

Thanks for the direct download option - that's working out fine after uninstalling the Akamai program.
