I applied the add-on to LC Workbench 9.0.0.1 on Windows 7.
After launching Workbench as administrator, I got "JVM terminated" error when I open (or create) a process.
"JVM terminated. Exit code = -1073740940 ....." - error dialog.
Why is that?
Thx,
K7
Sorry to hear about this. We have seen the add ons work fine with SP1 on Windows 7, but something in your environment must be related to the cause. Can you look in the Workbench Eclipse Client Log - you can find it through the Help menu in Workbench under About -> product details. Please send us any error or log messages you see around the time the JVM terminates.
We've tested this add ons with SP1 on Windows 7. We tested it again today on Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit with following steps:
1. install Workbench ES2 GM;
2. apply Workbench SP1;
3. apply Designer SP1;
4. install this add ons;
5. create a process.
We tested it with a Windows Standard user. No JVM error was found.
Is there any difference between your environment and ours?
That will help us to find the root cause. Thanks.
This is the error log when JVM termination occurs.

We changed to use a Japanese Windows 7 but couldn't reproduce the issue either.
About the error, "Could not locate the running profile instance. The eclipse.p2.data.area and eclipse.p2.profile properties may not be set correctly in this application's config.ini file.", I googled and found some similar issues in Eclipse:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=221513
http://www.eclipsezone.com/eclipse/forums/t116490.html
Need invesigate why this occurred in Workbench.
I have the same JVM terminated problem on my laptop, Win 7 english locale.
Also the same note about not finding the running profile instance in my eclipse log files. It looks like those messages only started after installing the add-ons, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
Let me know if there is anything you want me to try, but I'll probably need to revert back shortly.
