G'day
I set up a basic prsentation for a friend with the intention of handing it over to him.
I am the Author and I have made him a coauthor. How do I make him the Author and remove myself?
I notice there appears to be no way to copy and download a presentation (as a presentation, not PDF), so I can't do that as a workaround.

Hi Merv,
Thanks for posting. Your friend should be able to select the document in his organizer (not open it, just select it) and then click the little downward-facing arrow to the right of the filename; there will be a menu item "Duplicate". Once he duplicates the file it will appear in his organizer as "<filename> copy", and he will be the sole author.
Please let me know if you need any clarification on this process.
Kind regards,
Rebecca
G'day or rather good evening (11.30pm)
Thanks for a quick reply. I usually expect it to turn up down under next morning. And a very handy tip.
I was trying workarounds such as puttng a copy in his workspace and then removing me from his workspace to see if he moved up from coauthor to author. Unfortunately he ran into problems with Acrobat.com and hasn't been able to see what happens.

Your workaround (moving the file into and then out of a shared workspace) will work - it's a bit more convoluted than Duplicating, but gets the job done. The steps would be:
Many thanks Bob.
The clock has just ticked over to Tuesday morning here in Melbourne. I guess some of you guys are just over Sunday. <G> Back in 2008 when I started in ACOM and uploaded some files and the ACOM date sort used the heading "Future" for them!! Looked like Dr Who was on the team.
