Lightroom Filmstrip Inconsistencies

Not sure if this has been addressed before, but this really bugs me. I would like an option to auto-sync in ALL modules. Meaning, if I have multiple images selected in filmstrip and I'm in loupe mode and I apply a quick dev setting, it will apply to all the images selected. Now, I have to go back to grid mode to get it to apply to all selected or sync (which is another step).
I know about, and already have set to auto-sync in develop module, but why not keep it consistent or at least an option to set auto-sync in all modes? Same applies for ratings or just about anything I want to change: if I'm in loupe mode and have 7 images selected in filmstrip at bottom and I want all to have effect/setting/etc. applied, it should apply to all images selected without having to manually sync or switch to grid mode before changing setting.
I never understood why this is even the way it is - seems to be illogical, counter-productive, and inconsistent.
Adobe? Can you please change this or add UI option to customize?
