Problems when exporting tables from InDesign to RTF

When I try to export an InDesign file to an RTF file, the tables do not come accross properly. They are there, but the table fill is black and the words are not visible. Anyone have any suggestions/ideas why this happens? Would sure appreciate any help I can get!

    I think you might have a tint of a cmyk colour in a series of table cells. If this is the case convert it to a tint of an rgb colour and it should fix your problem. I have experienced that frequently and this change solves the problem.
