Hi folks: just a quick note to let you all know that the help engineering team has released a fresh update to the Adobe Community Help app via AIR’s auto-update mechanism. This release, v. 3.3, was focused on migrating the codebase to Flex 4/AIR 2 so that we could take advantage of numerous bug fixes and performance enhancements. For example, multi-domain search results (the default search mode for Flash Pro and Flex developers) have been boosted by 250%. This update includes new functionality, not just bug fixes, so it’s worthwhile to update if only to get new stuff for free!
Here are the other major highlights:
To get the latest version of the app, simply open up the Adobe Help app from any CS5 application and say ‘yes!’ to the update -- or you can manually update via our install page here : http://www.adobe.com/support/chc/
Our next release, v. 3.4, is tentatively scheduled for late Fall and will feature popular customer requests such as Tabbed browsing, Bookmarks, History, and more.
Hi Mark, how is the CHC 3.4 distributed? It installed on my other PC but at work, this page: http://www.adobe.com/support/chc/ still gives us 3.3.0. BTW, why is there no version information on http://www.adobe.com/support/chc/ ?
Hi: short story -- version 3.5 will be out as early as next week. Please seemy other reply here:

I sincerely apologize for the lack of communication/status on 3.4.
Hi,
Version 3.5 is already out. Launching CHC should prompt you for an automatic application update. Alternately, you may install the latest version from http://www.adobe.com/support/chc/.
