I took some pictures of when I was working on PC innards yesterday but found out later that I had forgotten to insert my SD memory card back into the camera, so some of these pictures I took are stored in the camera's internal memory. How do I transfer these photos from my camera's internal memory onto my SD card so that I can, in turn, copy the pictures to my computer (MacBook Pro w/ built-in SD card reader). My camera is a Kodax DX 6490. I no longer have the printer dock that came with the camera.
Thanks in advance!
You should have a USB cable that allows this to happen. Otherwise, if the SD card is required, the camera should have not fired.
Some cameras will fire under special setup without the card installed in order to demo it but I never heard of those images being stored anywhere.
The Nikon Power Shots have both internal and provisions for plug -in memory cards. You do not need the plug-in cards at all.
If you lost the cord, a replacement would be indicated.

Hi, I found out how at this site - perhaps this may help someone else here.
Kind of another topic, but I came across these memory card cases recently, and I just have to recommend them. Completely waterproof and crushproof and very compact. Well worth investing in.
