Merge cells of a table

Hi,

How to merge cells of a table vertically(Cells of different rows of same column) in the designer.

You can merge cells in a row but I don't think you can merge the cells of a column. Perhaps an alternative is to use a second table. For example, column D is a table with a header row and one body row.

Alternatively, you can just hide the borders between adjacent fields so the look like they're merged.  I've done that in the header of of a table I've just created.

Hi DanCJones,

Can you please tell me how did you achieve the same.

My requirement is that if the data between two or more rows is same I need to merge them into one.

And this is to be done for 3 columns. I tried using repeating subform and table method but the border of the table ruins the design.

Can you please help.
