Adobe has recently posted a release version of Adobe Drive 2 on Adobe.com in an effort to provide a viable near term solution for current users of the Adobe Version Cue server asset management system who wish to upgrade to Creative Suite 5 products. The Adobe.com release is appropriate for full deployment and production use in managing Version Cue assets with CS5 products. It does not include the CMIS connector for use with other non-Adobe content management systems. Any users intending to use Adobe Drive to access assets stored on a Version Cue server should use the Adobe.com download for production deployment.
Our CMIS connector will remain available via the version of Drive posted on Adobe labs for further testing and evaluation by users. This will provide time for Adobe to respond to your feedback and for a variety of asset management vendors who are in the process of implementing CMIS interfaces to release their updates containing this important interoperability functionality. Final details on the date and location of a completed version of the CMIS connector will be post here as available.
