HP Ipaq 211 and Adobe Reader Help Needed

Sep 24, 2010 12:56 AM

I installed Adobe Reader for PPC onto my Ipaq PDA, with no problems. It opens, and will open PDF files. The problem I am having is setting the registry to use AR as the default for opening a PDF. I think I am close, but not quite there.

Under pdffile>shell>open>command, I have "\path\AcroRd32.exe" "%1" (including the quotes) and I have the same thing under pdffile>shell>opendoc>command (again, including the quotes). path is the actual path to AcroRd32.exe. The problem is, when I try to open a PDF file by touching it on my screen, the reader opens, loads all of it's API's, then immediately closes.

Can someone tell me what the correct entry in the registry is? I really need to be able to open these files from File Explorer, beacuae of the way I use my PDA. I generally don't have time to try remembering weather a file I need open right away is a PDF, XLS, DOC, etc...

Thanks in advance.
