Spontaneous zoom out

All,

 

I have a frustrating problem. When I click on an image in Loupe View to go to the 1:1 view, it zooms to 1:1 but immediately and spontanously zooms back out to Fit view. I can hit "Z" or Opt-spacebar to zoom into the image. This only happens when I click on image to zoom in. While this doesn't happen all the time, it happens frequently enough to be a pain. Anyone else experiencing this?

 

I am running Lightroom 3 on a MacBook Pro (i7 with 8 gigs RAM).

    A quick click leaves the image zoomed; a slightly longer one doesn't. It could be that you sometimes hold the click too long, or your mouse button might be a little sticky and sometimes doesn't release right away.

    Brian, I resolved not only the zoom problem but also a lot of 'stuttering' and unresponsiveness of the sliders in the Develop Module by cleaning up my two optical mouses (mice?!) (google it for specific instructions).  Hope this works for you, too.
